Leonie Driver Training respects your privacy and takes the protection of your personal information seriously.

Leonie Driver Training provides manual driving lessons and refresher driving tuition in Wrexham.

When you contact me through this website, I may collect your name, email address, telephone number and any information you choose to include in your message.

If you become a pupil, I may also collect information needed to provide and manage your driving lessons. This may include your address, date of birth, driving licence details, lesson and payment records, availability and information relating to your driving progress.

I only collect information that is relevant to providing my services or managing your enquiries and lessons.

I use your information to:

• respond to enquiries about driving lessons; 
• arrange and manage lessons; 
• contact you about bookings or changes to lessons; 
• keep appropriate records of lessons, payments and driving progress; 
• provide driving tuition suited to your needs; and 
• meet any legal, insurance or regulatory requirements that apply to me as a driving instructor. 

I may also contact current or previous pupils about Leonie Driver Training services, such as refresher lessons, referral offers or requests for feedback and reviews.

Most of your personal information is used because it is necessary to respond to your enquiry, arrange lessons and provide the service you have asked for.

If you become a pupil, information used to manage your lessons may be stored in Total Drive, the driving instructor management system I use for bookings, pupil records, payments and driving progress.

I may also use trusted service providers to support my business and website. This includes GoDaddy, which provides my website and processes information submitted through the website.

I only share personal information where it is necessary to provide my services, operate my business or meet a legal requirement.

I do not sell your personal information.

About Dashcam Recordings

The tuition car uses a dashcam which may record video while the vehicle is in use. Audio recording is disabled.

The dashcam is used for safety, security and to provide evidence if an incident occurs. Recordings are not used for marketing or published on social media.

Footage is kept secure and is not retained for longer than necessary. It may be shared where reasonably necessary, for example with an insurer, the police or another appropriate authority following an incident.

Enquiry personal information may be kept for as long as needed to deal with your enquiry.

If you become a pupil, information relating to your lessons and pupil record may be retained for as long as necessary for business, legal, insurance or regulatory purposes.

Financial and transaction records may be retained for the period required by HMRC.

I will not keep information for longer than is reasonably necessary.

You have rights over your personal information. Depending on the circumstances, these may include the right to:

• ask for a copy of the personal information I hold about you; 
• ask me to correct information that is inaccurate or incomplete; 
• ask me to delete your personal information;
