I'm a DVSA Approved Driving Instructor providing manual driving lessons in Wrexham.
Passing your test matters, but so does being ready to drive on your own.
My aim is to help you become a safe, confident driver who can think for yourself.
Why I became a driving instructor
A change of direction
After many years in a completely different career, I was ready for a change. I wanted to spend less time behind a desk and more time working directly with people, doing something where I could see the difference I was making. It's turned out to be a very good fit.
More than passing a test
Becoming a driving instructor showed me how different every learner is. Some are confident from the start; others need more time, reassurance or a different way of explaining things. That's one of the things I enjoy most about the job.
The best bit
For me, the best part isn't simply hearing that someone has passed their test. It's seeing the change from someone who once needed me to talk them through everything to someone who confidently makes their own decisions behind the wheel.
What you can expect from me
Learning at your pace
I know learning to drive can feel like a big deal. You won't be expected to get everything right the first time, and you won't be compared with anyone else.
I'll be straightforward with you about how you're progressing, patient when something needs more time, and happy to find another way to explain it if the first one doesn't work for you.
You bring yourself. I'll meet you where you are.
